Estimates, pricing & scheduling
Are your estimates really free?
+
Yes. We come out, measure, inspect, and give you a written, itemized price at no cost and with no obligation.
How quickly can you come out?
+
Usually the next business day after you call. Repairs and cleanings are typically scheduled within days, not weeks.
Why are your prices lower than other companies?
+
We only do gutters and soffit. That focus keeps our crews efficient and our overhead small. One customer told us we came in more than $900 under the next bid.
Will my price change after the job starts?
+
Your written quote spells out exactly what’s included. If we find hidden damage, like rotted fascia, we show you and get your OK before doing any extra work.
Do you offer a warranty?
+
Yes. Our warranty covers both workmanship and material quality. Ask during your estimate and we’ll walk you through the specifics for your job.
What’s better: seamless aluminum or copper?
+
Seamless aluminum is the best value for most homes. It’s durable, low-maintenance, and comes in many colors. Copper costs more but lasts far longer and suits historic or high-end homes. We’re happy to quote both.
Can you just repair my gutters instead of replacing them?
+
Often, yes. If a repair will hold, that’s what we’ll recommend. We only suggest replacement when repair would be throwing money away.
Do you clean up after the job?
+
Always. Old gutters, scrap, and debris are hauled away, and we do a final sweep before we leave.
What payment methods do you accept?
+
Cash, checks, and all major credit cards except American Express.
Do you work on commercial buildings?
+
Yes. We serve both homes and businesses across the Salt Lake area. Call to discuss your building.
Do I need to be home during the work?
+
Not necessarily. For cleanings and exterior repairs we just need access to the gutters. For installs we like a quick walkthrough with you first.
How often should gutters be cleaned in Utah?
+
Twice a year for most homes: after the leaves drop in fall, and again in spring after snowmelt. Gutter guards can cut that down significantly.
About specific services
How long does a seamless gutter install take?
+
Most single-family homes are finished in a single day. Larger or more complex rooflines can take a little longer — we’ll tell you up front.
Is copper worth the higher price?
+
For homes where appearance matters and you plan to stay, many owners find copper pays for itself by never needing replacement. We’ll quote aluminum alongside so you can compare honestly.
Do gutter guards mean I never clean my gutters again?
+
Not never — but much less often. Fine grit and seed pods can still build up, so an occasional rinse keeps everything working. We’ll be straight with you about what to expect.
How often should gutters be cleaned in Salt Lake?
+
Twice a year for most homes — late fall after the leaves drop, and spring after snowmelt. Homes under heavy tree cover may need a third visit.
Can you repair just one section?
+
Yes. We regularly fix single runs, corners, or downspouts without touching the rest of the system.
Do you do soffit and fascia without gutters?
+
Yes. Gutters and soffit are the only things we do, so we take on soffit and fascia jobs on their own too.
When should heat cable be installed?
+
Fall is ideal, before the first snow. We can install during winter too, as long as the roof edge is clear enough to work on safely.
Can you add accessories to gutters you didn’t install?
+
Yes. Extensions, screens, hangers, and rain chains can be fitted to most existing aluminum and copper systems.
Rain’s coming. Let’s make sure your gutters are ready.
